Finding the nearest point of interest (POI) from the Navigator map

In the Navigator app (for both Android and iOS), you can quickly find the nearest fuel station, restaurant, parking lot, pharmacy, or other places directly from the map — whether you’re just browsing or actively navigating. This feature is useful when you want to see what’s nearby your current position or another spot on the map without needing to enter a specific name or address.

How to search for a point of interest (POI) from the Navigator map

  1. Tap anywhere on the map – a bottom toolbar will appear.
  2. In the bottom toolbar, tap the icon with the magnifying glass and the label:
    • Find nearest (on Android)

    • Find (on iOS)

  3. A list of POI categories will appear. Proceed by selecting:
    • a POI category (e.g. Shopping and Eating out, Sports and Health, Travel and Accommodation, etc.),

    • a place type (e.g. Restaurant, Petrol Station, Parking),

    • a specific place (if multiple options are available).

  4. Once you’ve selected a specific place, you can choose one of the following actions – just like in any other search:

    • Navigate to it
    • Set as departure (start)
    • Set as waypoint
    • Set as destination
    • Add to My Place / Favourites
    • Show on map

This way, you can quickly and conveniently find useful nearby locations directly from the map — without complicated searching or interrupting navigation.

Note: Entered values for Start, Destination, and Waypoints remain active until overwritten or deleted (e.g. via Route Info).

In the Route Info menu (accessible from the main menu), you’ll find additional features, such as optimising the order of waypoints. You can also easily manage the route points – remove them or manually reorder them, and more. For details, see Waypoint Optimisation, Routing Points management.
